The Bearapy Foundation
Students are struggling with learning loss, and reading skills are at an all-time low. The impact on childhood trauma has increased and continues to rise. Anxiety and depression rates are increasing everyday, and reading proficiency skills are steadily decreasing in communities, and especially communities of color. Bearapy is on a mission to provide students with books, bears, tutoring and therapy.
Our work is embedded with skills and resources from art therapists and dyslexia therapists. We provide intervention and enrichment opportunities to students both onsite and virtually. We have a vision to support the whole child. The books in our self-care libraries are designed with stories that are unique, inspiring, and sure to help your students connect to positive health and wellness.

Young Authors Cohort: Age 9-16
We are seeking young authors willing to participate in a 2-month ‘Experience Program’ where they are paired with a trained writing mentor that helps them conceptualize and write their very own children’s book. Once the manuscript is completed, our young authors attend virtual workshops to learn the fundamentals of marketing, branding, entrepreneurship, and public speaking in an effort to ensure they have the tools they need to succeed as successful published writers. Submitted Manuscripts will be sent to a panel judged to choose finalist for full editing and illustrations, unless organization’s needs differ.

For just a one time fee of $200.00, you can sponsor a child for an entire year. Sponsorships provide children with a Fur-Ever Friend, and four self-care stories. This sponsorships may provide a child with the one thing that they need to feel comfortable at night, a bedtime story and a bear. Please consider sponsoring a child today.

Tales, Tails, and Tables
Tales, Tails, and Tables is the annual fundraiser for Bearapy Organization. This fundraiser allows us to connect with our community and stakeholders in order to raise funds to support our programming and general operations.
